Project description
Aouefa Amoussouvi is a research scientist currently investigating the history of science and alternative narratives in the context of intersectional feminism and de-coloniality. In this tutorial, she wonders: We use “digital technologies” and talk about them daily, but what do we exactly mean when we say these words? What do smartphones, the internet, 3D printing, artificial intelligence or computers in general, actually have in common? In this workshop, we explore the definitions of ubiquitous terms like “digital”, “analogue“ or “technologies” and contextualise these words historically, by looking at the development of those tools.
